Day 1...Or Something Like That

Well it took some time but I’m finally getting this party started…well on this blog at least. Quick catch up - I started the new year like many hopefuls claiming this year would be the year I lose all the weight. I was off to a really great start in January but fell off the wagon & got run over by it in February. In March, I got my life back together and hired a nutritionist; bye bye carbs, sugar & diary. I finally started to understand how to properly fuel my body but something was still missing. Enter the Future app (more on that later). Joined in April and have been focusing on Hypertrophy training for body recomposition. Now it’s July and I’m more focused than ever!


As much as I hope this blog helps to inspire others, it is also my own tool for accountability. A reminder to take my own medicine and to not make the same mistakes as before. It’s my journal for this never-ending health & wellness journey.


The things I write about will be things I learn along the way. Things I wish someone would have told me early in my journey. I hope whoever comes across this blog sees some of the simple steps it takes to make big changes. You don’t have to go balls to the wall right out the gate. Just get off the couch and go for a walk. Start there. Drink some water. And, most importantly, don’t give up.
